Drawing on certain codes of British culture and the visual imagery associated with Playboy iconography, the work recontextualises familiar symbols of femininity within a fragmented, contemporary composition.
Glittery bunny figures blend subtly into a colourful, abstract background, inviting the viewer to engage in a perception game.
What initially appears as decorative gradually gives way to more complex interpretations, centering on the construction of desire, performance and the female body—both subject and object.
The work oscillates between irony and celebration, questioning the ways in which femininity is staged, consumed and reappropriated, whilst creating a space where gentleness, humour and subversion coexist.
